What is Room Service?

Room Service is an e-decorating concept that is ideal for busy individuals who still want a tailor-made service, without the hassle of making consultation times, leaving the office, or even leaving your chair! Room Service is great for those with little time, on a budget, or who love online shopping and want a new approach to their interiors. As we know, time is money, and we've dedicated our time to setting up Room Service to provide you with an easy solution to your decorating woes.

This service can be used if you’re after some styling ideas for your new home, existing home, rental property or whatever you desire. Our backgrounds span across architecture, interior design, sign writing, visual merchandising and the furniture trade, so you can be rest assured that we mean business! 

We aim to provide you with a more clarified interior style based on your existing furnishings and aesthetics, a clean slate if required, or simply some inspiration for future projects. Essentially, we offer you critical advice on the best products from our range to use in your home, what furniture goes together the most cohesively, in accordance with an in-depth questionnaire provided upon consultation. 

What does it Cost and what do you get?

When utilising Room Service, we provide you with a tailor-made solution for the room(s) you consult us about. To give us a more well-rounded ability to serve you, we ask for images of your existing settings, and if possible a floor plan. We then forward you a comprehensive questionnaire to determine your demographic, likes, dislikes, personal styles and tastes.

As for cost, well, that’s the beauty! Once we receive copies of your interior images and floorplans, we'll coordinate with you the total expected cost of our services. However, at $85 per hour, redeemable on product purchases valued above $1500, we’re confident that not only have we tapped into an unseen part of the market locally, but affordably too. We can provide you this service without the usual commitments associated with interior consultations, like contracts, obligations, or third-party affiliations. By keeping everything in-house, we can holistically supervise and maintain our connection with you to give you the best possible outcome.

On completion, we provide you with:

• A concept paragraph explaining the theme for the rooms
• A mood board utilising multiple graphics and products to explain the considered theme
• A products page collage displaying the suggested products and solutions
• A more in-depth analysis of your current situation and how our solution aims to address your requirements
• An overall product checklist with alternatives for your approval
• Plans, rendered environments of your home and/or collages to provide accurate understanding of the solution
• A bound document of the above sent to your preferred address for future reference

We perform correspondence via email and phone communication to ensure brevity and accuracy in developing our response for you.  Additionally, we can arrange in-store consultation at our Melbourne showroom. At this stage we aren't performing in-home consultations, but we're brainstorming new ideas all the time so keep checking back in the future!

A bustling family home that has recently undergone a beautiful renovation. The bones were there, but the client wanted a little something extra that brought some life and colour into her home. Taking inspiration from a recent trip to Morocco, we infused rich, warm hues to create an environment that is both mature and child-friend simultaneously.

A young couple recently moved into their brand new home and were looking for a neutral palette to liven up the place. Employing natural timber finishes to cohese with their existing furnishings, this response used ocean and flora tones to subtly liven up the space.
